PREMARITAL COUNSELING

Our premarital process is designed to help engaged couples build Christ-centered marriages that will be successful and fruitful according to God’s plan for marriage. You and your fiancée will meet with one of the pastors for 4-6 sessions to discuss how you can communicate at a deeper level, resolve conflicts, prepare for your financial future, lovingly relate to in-laws, and develop a shared spiritual life.

FOUR MONTHS ADVANCE NOTIFICATION

Please begin this process at least four months prior to your proposed wedding date. This will allow you to complete the preparation materials and participate in the required Premarital Counseling. These counseling sessions may raise issues that will require time to process and work through to a healthy resolution.

Marriage Preparation & Weddings

In addition to premarital counseling, one of our pastors will help plan your ceremony, facilitate the marriage ceremony rehearsal, and perform your marriage ceremony. Services for non-members will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We ask all couples to fill out a Wedding Application which you can access by clicking on the button at the bottom of the page.

On-site weddings are only available on Saturday or Sunday after 4pm.

To be considered a member of the North Jersey Vineyard, you must have completed The Growth Track and signed the membership agreement. A regular attender is one who faithfully participates in the life of the church but has not yet become a member.

Pastoral Fees for both member and non-member are to be paid directly to the pastor officiating the wedding.
All fees in addition to the Pastoral Fee are payable to North Jersey Vineyard Church and are due two weeks prior to the wedding date. Please note on the memo portion of the check: “for (bride’s name).”

Church ATTENDER/member(s) on-site

Pastoral fee: $350 | includes premarital counseling and wedding officiation

Facility fee: $200 minimum (includes usage of the auditorium, tech services, and custodial services)

Additional facility fees to be determined upon the details of your needs

Church ATTENDER/Member(s) Off-Site

Pastoral fee: $350 | includes premarital counseling and wedding officiation

Additional fees: travel fees and lodging arrangements, additional off-site expenses as needed

Non-MEMBER(S) ON-SITE

Pastoral fee: $500: includes premarital counseling and wedding officiation
