Our teens are hosting a bake sale to benefit the Boone, NC Fire Department as part of Hurricane Helene Relief. Stop by the Youth Room after any of our services on Sunday, Nov. 10 and purchase baked goods to help those impacted by this devastating storm. Thank you for your support!

It’s that time of year again! We’re getting ready for some sweet fun with our annual Trunk or Treat event! This is a great outreach opportunity to connect with our neighborhood kids and families, and we hope you’ll join us!

FAMILIES: You’ll be hearing more about this event in the coming weeks, but plan on coming to our church parking lot on Thursday, Oct. 31 for a fun night of trick-or-treating by stopping by all of the decorated cars. No scary costumes, please!

We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, and one way we live this out is by serving our community. Join our Serve Team on Saturday, Oct. 19 when we visit the elderly in our neighborhood and help them with chores, yard work, and various tasks. We’re getting ready to launch NJV’s very own course called “Empowered Life” on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7pm! This course is free and will cover one semester (approximately 9 weeks). With excellent and practical teaching on topics such as Kingdom theology, identity and authority, operating in spiritual gifts, and much more, we will incorporate our Vineyard Values and Distinctives while providing practice “lab” times so we can be trained and equipped to do the works of Jesus. This course will be open to all as we want to cultivate a culture of prayer at NJV where “everyone gets to play,” learning and growing in effective and empowered prayer. Hype in the Kingdom (HK) is our ministry for young adults ages 18-30, and they’re hosting their first “HK Fest” on Saturday, June 15. Doors open at 4pm and the event starts at 5pm. This is for all young adults plus students graduating from high school this year … come enjoy an awesome night of music, speakers, activities, food, and great community! No need to sign up — just come and join us!

We’re excited about the new endeavor to plant a church in Jersey City, and we thank God for His faithful provision and opening doors for His Kingdom to spread in our area. We are privileged to host Vince Bantu as our upcoming guest speaker on Sunday, June 9 at 7pm in the auditorium. Dr. Bantu is the professor of Church History of Fuller Theological Seminary as well as the President of Meachum School of Haymanot, and he will be speaking on the topic of “The History of Christianity in Asia.” All are invited to attend this engaging event.
