Christian Counseling.
Helen Shim, resident counselor at the North Jersey Vineyard, received her certification in Foundations of Biblical Counseling at CCEF (Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation) in Glenside, PA. Helen pursued her journey to be a counselor after receiving counseling from her own experience of loss, grief, and childhood trauma. This transformative power of counseling has helped her find hope, healing, and freedom in her own life, and her heart is to journey with others in experiencing wholeness through gospel-centered counseling.
Helen's objective is to provide short-term counsel in a safe space and will offer an option of either one to three sessions for brief situational counseling or four to six sessions for those in need of more in-depth support.
